When we steam clean carpets, we use a specialized cleaner, along with hot water and cleaning detergent. The high-pressure steam in combination with the hot water and the detergent all work together to blast up dirt and suck it up into the machine.

That generally depends on the size of the room. An average size room may take roughly 20-30 minutes to complete because we have to slowly move the machine carefully over the floors to ensure that all spots have been treated. 

We can do our best to treat any stains on your carpet, but we cannot fully guarantee that one treatment will be enough to clean the area. This depends on the type of stain and how long it has been there, as certain substances affect carpet fibers differently. We will apply a designated treatment to help with particularly troublesome stains. 

In addition to having fresh, clean carpets there are some other benefits to this method of cleaning including:

There are several factors that play into that. Humidity is a big one. In general, you should keep the room clear to dry for at least 24 hours.

Carpets are very similar to clothes in that as they are used, they will get dirty and require a carpet cleaning service. The answer differs depending on home habits, how often people walk on the carpet, and so forth, but it is a good idea to have your carpets professionally cleaned annually. If someone in your home has trouble with allergies, it may be a good idea to have your carpets cleaned twice a year. 

While steam cleaning is highly effective at removing stains, there may be some scenarios where stains persist after cleaning. Some reasons this may occur are if your carpet is very old and thinning, or if the stain has been left so long it has bonded to the fibers of the carpet.
